Just wondering how important to cold start these lines are. Thanks.

I would (and do) run them... IMO Nissan wouldn't have included stuff that didn't serve a purpose! Not running them might not have an immediate adverse effect, but it might sometime down the road. Thats why I opted to keep coolant lines to my turbo despite Dee's ranting about turbo coolant lines doing nothing :pface They're not too hard to hook up either, so just do it.

If you're in an area that sees cold temperatures, keep the TB coolant lines. I'll be getting rid of them, but the turbo coolant lines stay. :D

I kept them. Mines hard enough to start in the cold with them on. I've got a broken Auxilary Air Valve. Anybody got an extra....

I'm just trying to figure out why my cold start sucks. Try to fire it cold, it idles at 300 and if you give it gas, it hates you and dies. Try it two more times and the same result. 4th time, fires, idles at 850-1000 and runs fine. Any ideas?

if it was worth doing i'd hook cold water up to these lines; not hot. but then i don't have a problem with throttle bodies freezing closed etc.

Well, I had some weird issues before I replugged in my ECU and I forgot to reset the thing (long story). Leaving the negative cable off all night and see if that cures it.

grumble grumble grumble
