Yeah they made Silvia verts. Check the Ride of the Month section and you'll see one there. Production numbers were small compared to the coupes and I believe they weren't big sellers because of their high price. Finding one may take some time. Chances are you'll be doing a lot of searching around but getting it registered will be the tricky/harder/expensive part. I'm not aware of any (genuine) Silvia verts in America.

You're honestly better off just getting a USDM vert but if you're insistent on getting a RHD one, good luck with that I guess.

you'd be paying a lot for one. i like the way their tops retract better than the US models. looks cleaner when down.

yea im just glad that they are in fact out there. Im really starting to love the look of verts considering i have two HB's. Id also like the RHD because i like to be different then other people.i just wish us laws would allow us to get other cars in the country without getting it smuggled in or makin us go through an a** load of work.

Do a RHD conversion on a cavalier if you want to be different.

You could do the RHD conversion on a USDM vert if you really want it, instead of importing one.

I ran across this a little while back and it may still be for sale: http://www.nissansilvia.com/fo...84434

Just a note: the website is from Australia and its selling for $17,000 AUD which is currently $15,965.54 but the car is in Japan

Here is a post I did on it back in Feb. zerothread?id=310836

Good luck finding a vert! Welcome to the vert forum!

what's wrong with Toyota Cavaliers?!

I'd have to agree with half of their statement - the second half. I doubt it would be easier to import one. I mostly agree with the second half - it's pointless and if you have to ask how to do it, you're obviously not even close to being ready for tackling the job yourself.

I'll lend a hand because I'm being a bit harsh on you.

Parts you need:RHD firewallRHD steering columnRHD steering rackRHD pedal assemblyRHD dashRHD dash barProbably going to need a handful of other RHD specific partsYour best bet for nabbing all this JDM goodness is to find someone who buys a full front clip for an engine swap. let them take the engine and trans and ask if you can have the rest of the "junk".

General Procedure:Remove engine and transmissionRemove dash and steering columnRemove everything in the engine bay that's attached to the firewallRemove everything attached to the firewall on the interiorCut out your LHD firewallWeld in your RHD firewallReplace everything that goes on the firewall on the interiorReplace everything in the engine bay that's attached to the firewallReinstall dash and steering columnReinstall engine and transmission

Then you'll be mad jdm tyte yo.
