I'm trying to diagnose a "defrost/defog" only problem on my S13's HVAC.

Everything appears to be connected, and I have control over fan speed, but can't select anything but defog.

How does the HVAC unit board look?

I can take a pic of it when I get home, I have an HVAC next to my comp opened already. It'll be after 5-6pm tho.

Just think about it. How does the circuit board control the air, it controls something that moves the baffles and directs the air another path. Most likely the actuator that's bad.

Yeah your board looks clean and no broken solder or scorch marks.

I'm thinking it's that "above the drivers knee" actuator. Apparently its the unit that controls the vent flaps.

I also get power to the LED's in the HVAC Control, so that tells me it's working well enough.
