Ls1's have the fair share of problems too. They like oil but that can be delt with. My buddy went throught 3 ls1's under waranty in his TA. He kept excelent matanence of them too. All 3 engines were replaced because of lifter or head problems.

Haha, I love this thread...My RB is mainly used as an object of frustration and as the biggest space-occupying lesion in my parents' garage. I've driven it a total of less than 1000 miles since I "finished" the swap almost 3 years ago and it's all stock aside from a FMIC. So far I'm on my 2nd headgasket, 2nd set of cams, 2nd set of FAL fans, 3rd radiator, and now my ignition system is acting up. Looks like I'll be upgrading to a GM coil and wasted spark setup in the near future. I swear to God that I've NEVER driven it in anger, only pussyfooted around town and all of this stuff has had to be replaced. I'm at a point where I'm either going to sell it for a huge loss or say f*ck it and build it into a 450whp monster.

Action shots for me would involve it on the way to the grocery store, and parked outside of work in 12" of snow.

Its my daily. I never hit the track enough, but that will change this summer.

3 years and 3600 miles...

was a parking lot queen last summer. all the kiddies blew their wads when i rolled up. LOL.but this summer, id like to hit the strip, and make an attempt to autoX it. seeLOL.

she's wingless with a CF trunk now. needs a new turbo though. blowing smoke, and the wastegate sticks shut. EMS + infinate boost = fuel cut at WOT. **** sucks.

Sigh, if only cars were investments, I would be so F'en rich. I have the intention of using mine for HPDE and maybe TT. Drive to work on friday sometimes, no heat or A/C.

i know. ive got some 25mm spacers. but i dont want to use them. i dont want to cut down my studs. im planning on getting new wheels in the near future. or whenever i can drop the cash on some new ones. noob mistake, ill admit it. im learning that with this car, i have to do everything in little steps. ive learned to deal with the imperfections. i can only do things one at a time. i need to win the lottery.

675rwhp is good for solid 10's high 9's if hes a driver.... sounds wicked for sure.

That Vette didn't sound like it had a Procharger?

Sounded N/A Built to me.
