How do you turn the Navigation off on the 2004 M45 without removing the disc???

Push the "settings" button - then go to "display" and press enter. It should give you an option to return to the climate control/audio screen towards the bottom.Select "climate control/ audio"No Navigation
Correct me if I may have missed a step. I'll check to see if I missed any on my way to work tomorrow.

The safety acknowledgement screen may still come up occasionally before the screen turns off. Upon initial start up, I do not believe it does though.
GPS may also appear after thngas like checking mileage (Select display, down 2X on the menu navigator button and then Enter.) I've found that once the mileage screen is up, if you make climate control adjustments or radio adjustments, the acknowledgement screen may appear and then Nav may come up once acknowledged.... but it still goes away in a few seconds if you followed the instructions from Candyman.
