Yea so i asked my buddie to put my car battery in for me because i was working on somthing elce and it sent out a surge and it might have fryed my car. Is there any quick or easy way to tell if it is indeed fryed? My car cranks but wont turn over. The mechanic looking at it said it is probaly the ignitor but i dont want to pay 200 $ for on then have it instaled for another 300 $ (its at a Nissan dealer) Nothing was working at one point (my dash,pw,pl,pm rear lights etc...) that was from my turbo timer harness still instaled with out the turbo timer hooked in (i know i forgot lol) So any info will help me out! Thanks.

Nick

P.S if your wondering why i dident do it myself i forgot my turbo timer harness was still in the car so i had NO idea what was wrong after i took 3 hours trying to figure why NOTHING was working lol.

If you know anyone with an SR take the ignitor to them and swap em. You could tow the car home and pull the coil packs individually and ground them to the engina to see if you are getting fire. Maybe you can get lucky and find a 95 and ^ Q45 ignitor at a junk yard. You could pocket it, pay for something they might not even recognize and get a great deal on(I.E. $35 local) or possibly be lucky enough that they just might give to you. Either way don't let the dealer charge you fifty bucks for the install. Thats just strait up cornholed.

Considering you use the one from the "Q" then it should only take less then 300 seconds. HOWS THAT FOR A CURE BALL!.... OOOOOO FACEDDD!!!!!! REALLY, once a VW dealer tried to charge my brother 50 bucks to change a distributor cap. GET REAL LOSERS!
