how do you think this would look on a s13

Porsche Tornado Red (LY3D/G2). I was thinking about this color for my s13, except maybe a little bit darker. Hmmm if anyone here is good enough with photoshop to put this color on my car I'd really appreciate it.... watcha think?

Well, it's red. I guess question #1 would be "Do *you* like red?"

Maybe I'm color blind, but it looks an awful lot like the paint on my red S13. I like red, so I give it a thumbs up.

lol yeah of course I like red. I wouldnt consider it at all otherwise. What I'm trying to avoid is super sports-car showey red... this looks like a nice compromise cause it's not too flashy and it looks pretty sweet

Beige Pearl? I know a guy who has that color and not only does it look real bad but the owner is a real h0m0... so yeah, that color is out.

Here yah go. This is the best I could do without spending the time making another glossy clear coat layer. It's a little too red but you get the idea. I also made it green and white and a bunch of colors in the process. Heh. Neon green looks terrible on your car. I photochopped my car with some crazy flames as well. That's a nice red (and nice car) but it looks too deep for my taste. My feeling is if you're gonna do red, do the "arrest-me" Ferrari Red. Another good red is the "hot red" Nissan used on their 1989 240sx which was a slightly brighter shade than that 944. Looks good.

My first s13 was a '90 with the "hot red" paint color. I personally didn't like it. It was just a wierd color. I'm all about the new "silverstone" color they have for the new 350z. It's a darker silver. Silver is just a good color for a car. And less tickets.I want to see a 240sx with this color.

you're right man, lol actually I was eyeing a G35 the other day with almost the same color

what ever color you paint your car, paint the hood black and get some window tint, you will love the result

That's an awesome red, but I dont think it would look right on a cheap Japanese car. Works well with the beefy European car, but not really for the 240.

Ford has this shade of burgundy on the mustang that is a better version of the nissan burgundy. Thats what I wanted to paint my 90 hatch in.

I've had 3 red cars in my time and they are not cop magnets. How you drive is the cop magnet. I had an 87 IROC, 92 Daytona Shelby Turbo & my current 92 240 all of which were red and I have never been pulled over in any of them.

Now on the other hand I had a 92 Sentra (2 speeding tickets) and a 87 Sprint (3 speeding tickets).

It's how you drive not the colour of your car!:pface

BTW, the Mustang color you're discussing is called Laser Red, and it's beautiful.

I'm partial to Ivory Pearl Quartz, myself.

The color I am refering to is fire something. Lazor red is a brighter red than this one. I swear it is almost Identical to the stock s13 burgundy w/metalic.
