how do you take the damn flexplate off a ka?

i got the 6 bolts out in a snap, but the flexplate is sandwiched between the block and a metal round piece in front of it... the flex plate spins freely without spinning the krank, but i cant pull it off...

i need it off so i can mount it on the engine stand...

FYI this is my ka-t project ka engine...

pry it off. they can be a b**** but just need a little coaxing. crowbar ftw. work it from side to side
