i'm sure i'm not the only one who has had this problem. after car has been running for a while it wont start up till it cools down. i've been told it may be heatsoak. How do you fix this or get around this? thanks.

if it's heatsoak at the starter solenoid= new starter is needed

either that or new wires to battery/cable connections as well...

EDIT:

waitamin... your ? was answered in your other thread I scrolled down to already! zerothread/190701

autozone does it for free!

i don't think u have advance auto parts store in your area, but mebbe a similar store from http://www.partsamerica.com like oreiley's or other has a similar free test-in-da-parking-lot kinda deal...

I just moved from Texas, and I know that O'Reileys will test your car for free. Plus I prefer them over autozone any day (too bad SoCal isn't chalk full of them). And it never hurts to ask. I had a messed up starter last week, and I started talkin' to the guys at the store about it; they made sure I checked my bases, gave me a few tips and what not. Made a post or two on here to shine some light in the beginning. Sure enough, my worst fear came true and I lost all my drinkin' money to a new starter lol.
