How do you smog a 240sx with a sr20det swap?

How do you smog a 240sx with a sr20det swap?
I was thinking of getting a '90 240sx with a red top sr20det swap. I live in Northern California. Can it be smogged? Has anyone gotten one these cars smogged and registered in their name? I want to use it as an everyday car.

I dont even see them. I just hand my paperwork and some cash to a buddy... Not that I have an SR. Just how I roll.

dude an SR20 isnt even illegal! Just buy the car, take it to get smogged, pay your like $50 for the smog. And thats it! Your done!!!!

You can't get it smogged legally. It will not pass.

You can get them to pass the sniffer fairly easy, its just getting it to pass the visual, that gets difficult.
