How do you set camber on '91 coupe?

I replaced my struts with OEM style replacements. Neither the strut nor the spindle have slotted holes where they connect, so how do I adjust camber? As it is, I have to much positive camber(tires pointing out at the top). I'm not going to spend $100+ more on those fancy camber plates. Anyone know of an OE style strut that has a slotted upper spindle hole, which would offer a least some room for adjustment?

if there is a factory camber adjustment which i dont believe there is on the 240 it would be an eccentric on the lower control arm inner mount. If in fact there is no adjustment and your camber is out of wack you must have something bent.

What is "eccentric"? Nothing is bent. Everything was perfect until I changed my struts. I was careful to install everything exactly as it was removed. Did you say there was no factory camber adjustment on the 240? I hope you aren't right! What are people supposed to do when their struts wear out? My factory struts had a slotted hole at the top where it connected with the spindle. I believe that is the point where camber is adjusted. The problem is that the replacement struts I got (KYB) don't have this slotted hole. There were supposed to be exact replacements from tirerack.com. I've checked the numbers and they are the correct part.

it is a bolt that is not perfectly round or has a off center washer attached to it at the end near the head of the bolt. if it is the rear you are talking about there should be these eccentric bolts on the lower control arm where it attaches to the subframe.

I'm talking about the front of the car.

ok i think i got from your other post that you were talking about the rear. most nissan cars dont have camber and caster adjustments for the front there are some exceptions but not many. how much camber are we talking about here? enough to visually see the tires leaning out? if this is the case i have to think something did not get assembled right since it was fine prior. have you contacted your supplier and inquired about this?

The guy at tirerack.com (where I bought them) is supposed to call me back tomorrow. He was going to call the manufacturer to find out what the deal is.

I think I've fixed my problem! I also replaced tie-rod ends when I replaced struts. I counted the number of turns when taking off the old and putting on the new tie-rod ends. The new vs. old looked the same length, but it seems like 24 turns was too much and caused toe-out of both front tires. Driving with that toe-out caused the wheel to to pull the tire out at the bottom, making it look like a had too much positive camber. I reduced the turns of the tie-rods "by eye" to 20 and everything seems better. Whew! That's a load off my mind. I will still be taking it in to a shop to have a professional alignment. although I think all they'll really be able to tweak is the toe-in.

You can also get camber bolts from Enjuku racing for about 40 bucks. I am buying mine next week!:D
