How do you replace the sidemarker lights?
How do you replace the sidemarker lights?
i want to replace the side markers with LED to match everything else on the front of my car.would i need to remove the wheelwells or would i be about to access the bulbs from under the hood?

I didn't know our cars came with sidemarkers.

yes those orange ones on the side of the head lights

Lift the rubber under the hood and there's this gray pencil looking thing with a wire hanging out of it. twist it and there you go the side marker is there... You cant change it to like blue or white i tried... unless you change the color of the reflector that's why i put a red led in it because for some reason that made the whole reflector when it lights up red.

why cant i change it to white? i think it is illegal to have red LED on my carcan i see what yours looks like with the LED bulb?

If you put a White led in it it will remain orange on the marker... unless you just want to change it to led for the sake of changing it to led.lybrian1 wrote:why cant i change it to white? i think it is illegal to have red LED on my carcan i see what yours looks like with the LED bulb?

but there is a rubber shield if your standing in front of the wheel like and looking down into the engine bay
pull it up (its held by plastic snaps that you have to pull really hard but you wont brake them) and look and you'll find it

thanks alotand yeah i do want to change them for the sake of having LEDs because if i cant them to anyhting but orange it is considered illegal

i know well too bad i dont have the 100 club in my city otherwise id get the stickers and avoid the trouble lol
