How do you replace the Map lights

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I believe you need a very small flat head and pry gentle between the holder and lens. It should pop out. Don't quote me, I have not done this yet. Most cars come off like this.

As I mentioned in another post I used a butter spreader to get them out. I know it sounds but it worked like a charm. I've tried using a very small flat-head an almost damaged the plastics around the light covers.

Hope it helps

I used plastic trim remove tool.Just slide it in there and twist it gently. That cover doesn't get damaged easily.

Yes if I remembered correctly only one side pop out. The side that's further away from the windshield (the side that you press on) comes out and the whole piece swing down towards the windshield. I am pretty sure this is in the owner's manual too. Check there if you have any problems.

The cover itself doesn't, but the plastics part around the cover does. I put a small indentation there when I try to pry the cover off using a very small flat-head. That's how I decided to use something flat and wide to twist it out

Funny thing, I have been using a small eye glass flat head for years and never runined the light cover. I guess it depends on your steady hand and what you use. Either way, all will work.
