How do you replace the bulbs in the 91 Q Bose HU?

A few of the little bulbs behind my stereo buttons and climate control buttons were out. I did search and I could only find info on replacing the climate control buttons (which i did replace), nothing on the stereo. I figured the stereo world be the same, but i pulled it out and i couldnt figure it out. Does anyone know how to do this or where the bulbs are located? Are they the same as the a/c bulbs? thanks

Also, the motorized door that hides the bass, treble, etc. controls seems to be going out. It gets slower and slower every time i use it and sometimes just stops midway. Is it the motor or something else.... How would i go about fixing it?thanks again

You would have to pull the radio apart. I'm pretty sure the blubs are soldered on to the board, so you're looking at some work to replace them. Not sure on the motorized door... It may be easier to just buy a good working H/U. Check for a 91-93 (90 used different line level outputs). I would suspect there are tons of them sitting around in member's garages who have opted for aftermarket radios.
