the last time I had my tires rotated the shop over torqued on of the lug nuts and when I was attempting to remove said lugnut the wheel stud snapped so I need to remove the rotor and replace the stud but I can't figure out how to remove the whole rotor, and since it was out I figured I would replace the rotors as well (they are starting to get thin), anyways I can't figure out how to get the rotor off please help?

they come right off, just remove the caliper and slide them off. if they are rusted on, you may have to hit them with a hammer, but it will bow your rotors significantly so make sure to have replacements

probably not the best photo to use but that's all I have now

what you're looking at is with rotor removed, if you haven't removed the rotor, take a mallet and pound lightly on both side of the rotor and it should come loose.

When the rotor is off and your car looks like mine, you can pound the studs (don't bend them) toward the engine bay and it should come out from the other side, away from you.

Relaced the studs, make sure they fit into the pre-cut prove nicely and put the stud back into place with an open end lug nut. When you tighten it, it force the stud back into place
