how do you remove the license plate bulbs?

I want to replace the license plate bulbs with leds and they don't include how to remove the housing in the instruction manual. My last maxima the plastic lenses just popped off like the interior map lights and door sill lights do. However the rear plastic covers look like they have a screw inside thats hard to get to. can anyone help me out here? thanks

you have to go through the trunk from the inside. remove the carpet lining by removing the plastic "screws", you only need to remove enough to get at the bulb. then you'll see 2 grey lamp assemblies, turn them counter clockwise and the whole thing will come out, then you pull out the old bulb and put in the new one.
