alright, i got my rotors off but now I can't get the hubs off so I can replace the wheel stud, how do I do this? I have the socket for it but it won't budge in either direction I turn it?

Gotta pop the nut that's holding it in place off. But before getting to the nut, you gotta pop off the cotter pin and take off the little metal shroud thing that's for it. Use an impact wrench or put a pipe on the wrench to get it movin. If it's rotating around, put a pry bar between two of the studs so it won't rotate while you're trying to bust the nut off.

you should be able to get the stud out without pulling the hub. There should be a small half moon in the backing plate at the same location as the brake caliper assembly. this is where the stud passes through.

I got the stud out this way by hammering the broken one out, but when I put the new one in I can't get it to go all the way in, how do I get the stud all the way in, my dad suggested using an open ended lug nut and just using it to pull the stud in but wouldn't this put undue stress on the thread of the new stud?
