How do you remove the engine cover?

I was just outside this morning trying to remove stuff that I don't need from the 09 Maxima and I could only get the screws off but the engine cover is still stuck on the bottom part. I didn't want to pull and break anything. There's also a plastic cover for the fluid bottles for cosmetic reasons. I want to remove that sh*t too. Can anyone with the 7th gen Max instill some knowledge?

if you dont care, just pullno really though, just plastic clips, just give it a good pullwhy remove it may i ask?

The covers are for protection, minimizes engine dirt as well as reduce engine noise. Same question here - why remove them? If you do, just make sure you store them somewhere so if in the future you sell the car, you can put them back.
