how do you remove the antenna mast?

I just need to know how to take the mast out? And will anything get messed up if I leave it out ?

You take it out from the inside with the whole power up/down mechanism, when you remove it you have to plug the hole otherwise water will most certainly get into your trunk area.

You can use a plethora of things, a regular hardware store rubber plug, epoxy, it depends on the result you want. mine was broken when I bought the car so I replaced it with a whip, also my car doesnt see the rain and lives int he garage so leaking is not a big issue for me.
