How do you open the hatch from inside?

There has to be a knob or button from inside the Z to open the rear hatch. i check in the manual and nada. btw i have a 07 base coupe.

there is a little ring under your rear strut bar that you pull down, check it out, you can't miss it

or you can use your car remote

Wow is that cheesy. I was wondering the same thing and you have to be rubber man to reach the pull tab from the front seat. Its only a cable back up to release the hatch. I cant believe Nissan did not install an electric hatch button near the driver like most other cars have. I even have a spare switch cover on my 07 that could be used for it, next to the heated seat switches. Bottom line is dont let your key fob battery go dead.

why dont you just use the rear hatch release near your rear license plate? did you know? That trunk release is just there for emergencies, It is now mandatory for all cars to have an inside trunk release, due to when people get kidnapped or get locked in by accident. Even Accords that have an inside tyrunk button still have that release, that is only accesible inside the trunk
