how will you know if your steering rack is bad? and how bad do tire have to be worn in order to make your whole car shake. this is my problem now. thanks

well yoru rack shouldnt make the car shake...

If the rack is bad you will probably feel *gaps* in the steering, or "soft spots" if you will. Also if the wheel doesnt naturally return back (or get really close) to the straight position after a turn then its prolly crapped out also. You can rebuild them if you knw what you are doing... I have never tried so I dont know what its like (though its prolly not to bad).

Balance your tires and you will be able to tell if thats the corprate to the shaking...
