Easiest way for me is to look under the hood, should see the ABS module (probably on the passenger side, but not sure since I don't have ABS). If anyone has an underhood pic should be easy to spot.superskunk wrote:I dont recall my dealer telling me whether or not my car was equiped with ABS, I have an 07 S model auto.... everytime i turn on the key the ABS light comes on.... can anybody answer the question for me... thanks...
Think ABS has been an option on all models from the beginning.marleyfan wrote:Was ABS even available on the S version US Versa's in '07? I could be wrong but I didn't think it was. I seem to recall lots of jealous US posts complaining about ABS being standard on the Canadian models but not available on the US models. EV probably knows.
on a wet road (no traffic) preferably, put your foot to the floor and you will feel a "grinding" sensation on your foot. That is ABS doing it's thing.superskunk wrote:I dont recall my dealer telling me whether or not my car was equiped with ABS, I have an 07 S model auto.... everytime i turn on the key the ABS light comes on.... can anybody answer the question for me... thanks...
I had an 07 S with ABS. But when I was shopping it was very rare to find any ABS cars S or SL. At that time in March of 07, there were just 2 6MT S models with ABS in the entire Southeast. Even with ABS, Versa brakes are very weak.marleyfan wrote:Was ABS even available on the S version US Versa's in '07? I could be wrong but I didn't think it was.
