Most effective way? Move to Nevada, clean it, and store it in a climate controlled facility. In a giant plastic bag.

Realistically, don't drive when there would be salt on the roads, wash the underside of the car pretty regularly, and treat whatever rust you find now rather than later. Undercoating the car wouldn't hurt, you don't need to POR15 it though.

keep the car indoors in a moisture controlled enviroment, there are rest preventing companies like crown but keeping the car out of the elements is still the best way

ok i came to the conclusion that im most likely going to undercoat the car and paint the interior floor with the same por 15 paint..hopefully this should come out looking good and would keep the rust away..i aslo set an agreement with my mom that i can keep my car in the garage while she keeps hers outside in the driveway ahah :bigthumb: awesomee so that should help too..if anybody did this project before than let me know how it came out for and if it was too dificult for you to do in your garage.thanks

undercoating can hold moisture in and make rust worse, I hate undercoating, these cars ust don't make good commuter cars

Strip the whole underbody of the original undercoating.. then POR-15 the whole underbody as much as possible as well as the interior. After doing this like Evil said, keep it out of the elements as much as possible. At least away from the salt and snow.
