under the car!

read the manual, it's got the jack points. jack it up on the frame of the car where there are 2 knotches. there's a pic in the useful book in the glove compartment

Please try to make you're thread titles a little more descriptive. You'll receive a quicker response.

Look in the index in your manual, its there!

When I do it I use the scissor jack in the stock location and raise the vehicle then I put jack stands right behind the front wheels little in. There is part of the frame(at least I hope its the frame) that is silver and is just the perfect width for the jack stands I have.

I used to use one of those normal floor jacks but it bent the little tabs where the stock scissors jack is supposed to go and I figured I didnt want to bend them much because if I got a flat and had to use the scissors jack on the road I would be screwed if it did not fit.

yeah guys, the factory location with the tabs on the frame is only for the stock floor jack, using any other kind of jack will bend it fo sho....

You can use a floor at those spots with the appropriate rubber or plastic adapters. Some brand name jacks come with the adapters otherwise I think they are around $10??

Im kinda embarrassed to ask this...but I've been wondering where to place my floor jack so I can change my oil. Is the transmission really a safe spot? Thats the last thing I want to F*** up. I was thinking more somewhere on the body frame is better??

TIA

be sure to always use jack stands people! the jack shouldnt be the primary support.
