I'm a college student, and I left my G back home (which is 5 hours away) because I'm only going to be coming back to college for 3 weeks to finish off the semester.

So, here I am without my G and its day 2 of the 3 weeks... How do you guys fair without your G?

***I know this might sound pretty stupid, but I miss driving it and spending rediculous amounts of money on 93 octane gas to fill up the tank. I was so used to driving it everyday, I feel as if I gave my kidney away to someone on a temporary loan***

Help a brother out, will ya?

Yeah I know the feeling, I'm down in Charleston SC for college and that's 10 hrs from home for me. I'm a sophomore this year so I have my G down here with me but last year as a freshman I couldn't have a car. It sucks having to rely on other people to get places (of course the beautiful Charleston beaches).

I put mine away for about 5 months each winter and I deal with it knowing that its safe from other drivers around here during the winter (I don't trust people around here with their winter driving). And I'm not spending $5 every other day to keep it clean of salt and what not. Also, for Christmas I can't take it home (student as well) because it just wouldn't make it in all the snow for what is a 7 hour summer trip.

Premium comes in 91 or 93 octane, depending on where you are from (based on elevation).

I had my car in the shop since last week to fix a fender bender, and I had a Dodge Caliber for rental. The damn car has a rev limiter!!! I couldn't do anything with that thing, and damn did I miss my G!! Just got her back today with fresh new clear coat on my front~

I feel your pain, my car is in the garage for the winter here in Mass and all I can do is just look at it.

FYI in New Mexico Premium gas is 90 octane - I discovered this while driving cross country to bring my G home - I went to several gas stations and almost ran out of gas because I was looking for at least 91 and I had to settle for 90. I would imagine 90 is safe for all the G owners that reside in New Mexico.
