How do you get rid of the "check engine" light after an intake installation?

Aside from installing the intake correctly. The only thing that seems like a possibility is that something happened with your MAF during install since its the only thing that would make your check engine light turn on doing that simple install.

I think you can only remove the CEL with a scanner and remove it. It could be possible that you installed the MAF the wrong way when you reinstalled it. Hey it happends and that could be the reason why it turned on. What part of California do you live in?

Oh cool if you lived closer we could have met up and I could have erased it with my scanner. Im in LA and I hate SoCal traffic like a mother.

you can always try to disconnect your battery, wait a few minutes and reconnect it. i had my check engine light come on after installing HID's and after doing that the light went away.

i had some issues with backwards wiring so i may have unplugged my lights with the battery still connected which might have threw the cel. otherwise, no clue.
