how do you dismantle and clean IAA valve?

my car stalls when idling sometimes. The enclosed pic is of the IAA (idle air adjustment) unit. I will try to provide a second ground for IAA.

hey vancouver......when u took off the iaa, did u replace the gasket? Mine torn and wuz wondeing if i can jus use liquid gasket cuz the stock one is hard to find unless u go to the dealer which they will have to order.....thanx
