How do you cut off the rear muffler on a 1999 infiniti q45???
cut the rear muffler off and replaced with a flexible exhaust pipe and two straight sections of pipe with new tips? how do you do it?

if its the same as a 94 i did mine with sawzall then just did flex pipe to two 3"od sections of stainless with the proper adapters to do the size change

in my personal opinion you are much better off cutting out the "pre mufflers" prior to the rear muffler. you will get much better sound, IMO.

yea i dont really like the sound of mine its cool but its kinda rattley if that makes any since... i want to redo the whole thing with like 2.5" or 2.75" but it works for now

Where are the pre mufflers...and can i get away with just cutting those off and making it sound good, or will i have to put some new straight pipes on it?
