How do you clean the MAFS...

I searched and I can't find jack... How do you clean the MAFS and what is the procedure? Is there any way to clean it without popping it off of the piping thing that it sits on?

pull the mafs itself from the car and then trickle brake cleaner down to the element. You'll see a hole in the mafs' insides where the element is. let it run through there and let it work its magic and let the junk flow out.

I love you, you're always the first one to respond to my problems . So all I do is spray the brake cleaner into the little hole and the residue and gunk should flow through the hole at the other end?
