It's not hard to do. I don't even need to raise the car to change the oil. Just park on a level surface and turn your wheels all the way to the right. The rest you can find in the service manual here
http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/murano/2009/ which will detail the procedure. It's illustrated in the Maintenance section (ma.pdf).
Items needed besides oil and filter...Oil drain pan14mm socket or box wrench for drain plug12mm copper drain plug washer (I always use copper, plastic and rubber can crack)A decent filter wrench (the 3/8 ratchet wrench type work best for Murano) Two small screwdrivers for removing the splash shield over the oil filter
Tip: When changing the oil filter I always wrap a plastic grocery bag around the frame just below the oil filter and attach it with a piece of wire at each end (you can use tape....whatever). This prevents the oil which drips onto the frame from traveling along the lip of the frame and thus all over your driveway.
Disclaimer: I don't know your level of expertise and I don't mean to scare you. This is really not hard to do, but if you don't feel comfortable with any step of the procedure DON'T DO IT. Loss of oil is the quickest way to destroy your engine. I'd really feel terrible if you posted on the forum that you lost your oil . If you have any questions we're here to help.
