how do you change an injecter on a ka24e? is there anything special to do? or is it just pull the egr then the fuel rail and put in the new 1? will i need and special tools? anything would be nice and i already searched but didnt find much

pull out fuel pump fuse and start car untill it dies. Then crank for about 10sec. That releases all your fuel pressure. That "flying saucer" looking thing need to be removed, then the 2 rail bolts. Replace faulty injector w/new one and possibly new o-ring and spacer. Put back together. So easy I could do it with my eyes closed. No special tools required. just a ratchet and a 10 or 12mm socket.

thats it??? ok well i kno its the injector cuz i took of the harness to that 1 and the car still ran the same but its smoking alot do you think the injector is stuck open cuz the thing runs out of gas like no other

ok so i changed the injecter but then it was the harness that connects to it so i cut it and redid the connection and still white smoke and gas comming out the back what is going on with my car?

well the oil levels are fine... could too rich make that much smoke. im talkin about injecters stuck open... rich?

If the smoke is white, its usually when you are running lean.If the smoke is black or something, its usually when you are running rich.

just go up there or call em and ask if they have 240's in there yard, if its a u-pull-it then take a stroll and see what they got...and lets not forget the great provider of used stuff..EBAY! seriously, i would check there if the junkyard is no-go, theres always somebody parting out their wrecked 240 .

also check your coolant levels the white smoke could possibly be the coolant burnin if thats it it could b you head gasket
