You can get a gauge cluster from an SE, which is black on white. I don't think they light up blue, though.

You'll need to order an after market cluster if you want inverted illumination (blue face, black numbers) at night.

i would recommend getting an SE cluster and installing blue bulbs. those faces look good, but if you look closely you can see where the cuts around the numbers are a little sloppy. i had II's red transparent faces in my 95 and loved them

I believe that only a dealership can modify the mileage on the odometer in a cluster and they will only do it when they are installing brand new ones into cars they are servicing. You'd just have to live with the fact that the odometer isn't right. Make a note telling you how much was on the odometer when you put it in and how much was on yours when you took it out so you can keep track. But a car as old as yours will probably make its trip to the junk pile when you're done with it so I wouldn't worry about the resale value of it, just enjoy it.

just get one from a salvage yard, maybe you can luck out like i did. i got one that was at 80K mi when mine actually had 200K. the needle kit is sick too. you have to pay great attention to instructions when installing not to break the pins holding the needles in place. do the SE cluster, blue bulbs and a needle kit, and you will be set!

My speedometer needs to be changed and I'm not sure if the needle just prys off , or what a safe technique is to get the needle off without breaking it. Looks like I'l have to use a black face OE and change to my white OE . Thanx , Steve
