how do you calculate the offset?

how much of offset will i get?

That's tire size



stock offset is +45, you don't calculate offset you just check it out on the rim specs

Get 245/40/19 but with +45 offset. It will fit nice. I've got 245/40/19 with +35 offset and it's slightly too aggressive so I need to watch it over speedbumps and whatnot.

so less the offset, more possibility to rub? is that what it means?

Ya, kinda. Unless it's a ridicilious offset but I haven't seen anyone run numbers like what I'm thinking. But camber & some stretch will get you a long way.
