how do you bleed the clutch?

How do you bleed the clutch on a s13 sr20det? and i also have a another question about the front cover.can i take the front cover off without removing the oil pan?

Uh, you can't bleed the clutch, you can bleed the slave cyclinder if thats what you mean? And what front cover are you talking about?

Please use the search button from now on. anyway, remove the dampener if you still have it, otherwise it will take you forever to bleed the clutch system, with the dampener removed it'll take you a few minutes. Searching will yield thread with pics showing how to remove the dampener and bleed the clutch. As for the front cover, I don't know. I haven't looked at it. You can on the SOHC KA, I assume you can on the SR, but I don't know. I'm going to look at that tonight. Try searching. Oh, and welcome to NICO!

Most people still refer to it as bleeding the clutch. The front cover is the piece that holds the oil pump, front main seal, and has the crank pulley sticking out. the oil pump assembly

If you take the front cover off without removing the oil pans, you run the risk of having an oil leak because you will break the silicon gasket on the upper oil pan. It will never reseal properly and oil will leak out where you broke the seal.
