yup, the HKS uses a single angle bent and straight though muffleres, stock exhaust and manu aftermarkets use 2 bends to tuck the muffelers up and straight out, I ran the hKS because t's one fo the cheaper kits and 1 fewer bends and straight through muffeler means less exhaust restriction

He's got a lot of work done to his car, yes. And sure, it's the best flowing 2.5" exhaust system on the market, yes. However, IMO, it is the WORST looking exhaust there is. It is ricey, JDM-TYTE bullsh!t and has no place on a beautiful car like the Z.

There's no point in buying the HiPer anymore, now that there are extremely well flowing 3" exhaust systems available from SZ.

No, the HKS HiPer (the one in the picture you posted) is a rice bowl. I've had a GReddy SP on a previous Z and loved it. The EVO2 is all stainless, so it's even better than the HiPer, which is mild steel.

Nice! i just liked the way it looks and sounded. what's the best to compliment the exhaust as in what's a good cat or header to go with it.

less restriction = better.

So the best exhaust would in theory be nothing lol. If you buy headers and test pipes that's really all you can do. High flow cats are basically the same thing but they have less restrictive cats, and they may be better for your application, depending on emissions laws. BTW don't buy an exhaust just because someone on a forum approves of it, rather than the one you really want. It''s your car man!

Though with test pipes you will lose some low end torque on an NA, but you'll gain some high RPM powah
