how do u check timing on a blk top sr20det? really confused

hey guys im new to this sight and i was wondering how to check the timing on the sr20det . ive searched but im still kind of confused. if anyone can give me basic directions that will be great.

Because I simply used "checking SR timing" as the keywords in NICO Search and found this thread.
