How do remove/install an ECU for a 1994 Q45?

Remove passenger side kick panel, remove three 10 mm bolts holding it in, disconnected harness by loosening the 10mm bolt in the center of it. Use care to pull it straight out so you don't bend any pins.

Look for a 1" square flap of carpet that you pull back to uncover the 10mm nut holding in the kick panel. It's about where your passenger's right foot would be if their leg was extended. You'll need to pull out the large trim piece below the glovebox first. No tools required for removing this part.
