keep in mind that i don't have sidemarkers because i use to have a silvia conversion before converting back to stock and the fenders were missing them.

all i did was hook up the amber as the light that would come on when originally equipped on the usdm bumper, of course you're force to do this since the bulb fit in there perfectly. as for the white part, i used it as a signal light. so what i did was hook up the bulb that was dangling from my missing side markers. this also fit perfectly. so i would guess if you want both the side markers and the white part of the bumper light to work, you would have to get an extra pair of sidemarkers wires and begin splicing into the signaling lights. hope this help. just want to mention, i wasn't really a big fan of the amber/white light, so i just bolted the usdm cover with the jdm bumper light housing. i love much better like this, one color piece.

just splice the running light (white) into your side markers. then cut off the stock bulb/harness and wire back in the jdm one.

Wow. I was under the impression that you could just plug the JDM units into the USDM harness and everything would work fine. That isn't the case? The stock bulb is a dual-filament unit so what's the problem?

I was thinking of buying a set myself, so let everyone know how this pans out!

Okay so I have 2 wires on the amber side, black and green with yellow. I connect black to black and green with yellow to green with yellow. That got the signals to work. The clear side has 2 wires also, black and green. I tried connecting black to black and green to green but it doesn't work.

I can't splice into my sidemarkers because ever since I tried putting in these lights, my sidemarkers and gauge cluster stopped lighting up.

i did alot of reasearch before i got mine, there seems to be two different types, one you can just plug in and one you have to splice. silkk and i have the crappy ones you have to splice.

Thanks for your help! But i got it working! I used a volt meter to see why I wasn't getting any power. I found out one of my fuses blew. Its weird 'cause it was the tail light fuse that blew.

Anyways, I got it working and took some pictures. Oh btw, anyone know where I can get some 194 bulbs thats brighter than the stock ones? Like 50w or something?

Looks good, I have both sets of half amber and white on my hatch and coupe. They pluged right in.
