I've got an S14 with no power antenna, and I've got a power antenna laying arround from my S14 parts car. My car is not wired for a power antenna. where would I hook up the wires in order to make it work? I run an alpine head unit. Thanks

seriously though, where are you going to put the power antenna? Does it fit in the place of your stock non-power one? If so, you *might* be able to use the existing wire that goes to the non-power antenna to turn the power one on and off. This only applies if there's a direct connection between the regular antenna and the HU though. If the antenna just attaches to the body then you'll have to run a new wire

It goes in place of the stock antenna. there are wires that were in the parts car that I do not have, so I know I need to run new wires, I just need to know what to hook them to. I've tried just hooking it up to the antenna wire, but that doesn't make it go up.

you're going to need a voltage trigger to make the antenna go up. Do a google search. I can't remember the exact name of it though

Your Alpine should have a power antenna trigger (usually orange or a blue/white-stripe). The antenna should have a 12v, ground, and trigger wire. Connect the ground, connect the 12v to an accessory connection, then run a line for the trigger to the HU.
