How do I test Injector Wire

Hi,

My engine idles boggy a bit, and i have hesitaition and studder SOMETIMES only. I think it has to do with the injector wire going into injector # 3.If i move the wire a bit, the engine will bog and shake more and the exhaust sounds like "put put put put put"..then i have to move the wire and play around with it a bit for the engine to go back into a better idle and exhaust sound.

How can i test the wires going into injector # 3.I know that you can test injector with an ohm meter by touching red and black probles to the two metal terminals on the injector and should test 11 to 16.How can i test the wires going to the injector?

Please specify if ignition off/on, and engine off/on....Would i be able to put the ohm meter on the two wires or a voltmeter?I've tried searching and reading but it doesnt show much info.Thanks

one wire is constant 12 v positive and one is a ground signal from ecu. measure voltage when the ignition is off ie one probe on ground and one probe on wire. the other wire will be the ground signal. test it with ignition off with ohms. ie continuity test. wiggle wire to see if it changes .
