How do i tell the difference from a S1 or S2 rb25det?

hey i wanna know how i can tell the difference btween a S1 and S2 rb25? I have a s13 wit a rb25 swap and want to kno which series i actually have. . Can anyone help?? =/ thanks..

Are you using the stock MAF? Or a MAP Sensored ECU?

RB25s use a Green or Pink Stickered MAF Sensor.

Gen 1 - Green StickerGen 2 - Pink Sticker

Also, Gen 2 engines dont use an 'Ignitor Pack' whereas Gen 1 Does

okay i dont think its a stock MAF... but whats the difference in the ignitor pack... thought they both have coil packs

Both do have coil packs...

Its easy your motor either has the big sqaure ignotor pack that installs on the center garnish (inbetween the valve covers) or it doesnt
