I bought my Z32 used with no records. Do installers make a note somewhere when they do a timing belt, or is there a way to tell if/when it's been done?

Unless you have a receipt or there is a sticker under the hood, there is no way to know.

Not sure it would last, but timing belt kits come with a sticker to apply and has a spot to indicate the mileage when it was done.
