You have the 05 right? Then it's a Rev up!!Sentientbydesign wrote:The 05+ 6mt have the Rev-up engine. Higher redline, supposedly faster revving, higher peak HP, and slightly less torque than the 5at..
hmmmm....worth an email...will shoot him a note tomorrow. thnx!G_whizz wrote:Go with the grounding wires... Stillen's sounds like a decent deal for $89 .. see if Gordon will match it
Correct (just verified with Motordyne). The 6MT is the REVUP engine only, in either the coupe or sedan for the 2005+.SVTCOBRA wrote:OK, so if I have a 05 Sedan with AT, it does not have the rev-up motor?correct??
SVT, did you see my post about the coupe exhaust in your area?SVTCOBRA wrote:Great! Maybe I can afford something!!! Blox!
C Kwik - What's an HR?C-Kwik wrote:A simple way to tell is to look at where redline is. The rev-up motors redline at 7000 RPM while the non-rev-up maxes out at 6600 RPM.
The HR revs to about 7500 RPM.

Which is the 2 intake 350Z engine I assume? Is it purely an intake change or are there internal modifications? Can this plenum be bolted onto a RevUp engine? From what I understand it flows better than the stock one I have on my 05 6MT. It would also make twin turbo much easier.joe603 wrote:

wait so the 2007 coupe 5at is non rev up? O.o so that means that i wont get any performance from an mrev2?tollboothwilley wrote:the 05+ will want the MREV2 with a plenum spacer to achieve what you are looking for in the performance.
The MREV2 is designed very similar to the 03-04 lower plenum which is the reason that 03-04 can get virtually the same out of just using a spacer.
I think you can get away with just a plenum spacer.nismodan69 wrote:

Do a VQ35HR search and there's an awesome thread with info on the HR differences. The internals were adjusted.sshick wrote:Which is the 2 intake 350Z engine I assume?
