how do i take out the headlights on a 2001 maxima

i need to take out the headlights on my 01 max i took the screws out and tried to pull them out but it didn't work. need help

You can find directions here this section of the FSM, on how to remove the headlamps on your 2001 maxima.

If you just need to replace the bulbs, it should be a matter of sliding the bulb retaining clip, then twisting the bulb and pulling it back towards the fire wall.

thanks a lot for that info man. no i need to take the lights out to clean em (foggy) its freezing balls outside so can't do it out there and don't feel like spending time out there figuring out how to take them out
