What are the location of the screws in the driver side door panel. I can only find one. I need to get at the door locking mechanism but I'm having a lot of trouble getting the panel off. Can somebody please give me step by step instructions as to how to get it off?

Thanks

This is for a 95

Remove the 3 srews on the bottom of the door panel.Remove the screw in the door handle trim thingy then remove the trim thingy.Pop out the little plastic cover with a small flat screw driver on the inside of the plastic thing you grab to shut the door then remove the screw underneath. Then lift that plastic thing up and unplug the wire harnesses to the power door locks and power windows, then remove that plastic thing.Remove the plastic clip on the far top left corner of the entire door panel. Now, gently pry between the door panel and the door, near the plastic clips works best, until the panel pops loose. Then lift up and off.Putting it back on is a sinch accept when you first put the door panel on, you have to wiggle it a bunch and make sure nothing is catching until it slides back into position. Sometimes gentle downward taps help.

Hope this helps.

Well I have a 90 RPS13 but I assume that it would be very similar to your instruction. So thank you very much for your help, I'll make another attempt tomorrow morning.

theres one screw in the top right corner near the hinge, covered by a little cap. Then there is one underneath a little piece in the lower door handle(where the power window buttons are if you have them). Then remove the trim piece that goes around the actual door handle/lock mechanism. The rest is just popping off the plastic fasteners. I have an s13 and I just did this today.
