how do i take off te water pimp on my 92 z?!?!?!?

i already have the timing chain covers, radiators, & belts out. now, do i have to take off the crankshaft pulley off?? becase theres a cover covering the water pump.thanks.

well im not sure if your VG has a water pimp,,, but an impact gun on the dampener pulley nut and a rubber mallet should do it. if that dosent work then u might need a gear puller. once the dampener is off take of the timing cover then remove your pump

ps: replace the timing belt and idler while your at it, save you some time in the long run

Yes you do have to remove it, also a good time to change your front main seal, only cost $5.

what do ya know my vg does have a water pimp, found him chillin out just above the damp pully,, thanks for the detailed pic of him, made him much easier to find.
