Ugh...there are four bolts under each seat. Unbolt them and remove the entire seat and rails. They are in plain sight and not hidden underneath or anything. Be sure to use your search button from now on for these types of questions.

Guys, be nice.

(...as I sit here and chuckle to myself...)

The rails bolt to the floor. Slide the seat forward to get to the rear two bolts, and back to get the front ones.

I really don't think this needs explaining. Look at the ends of your seat rails. There are bolts there, remove them. The two rear bolts may have a small plastic cover over them. If so remove those first.Once you have done all of that, lift the seats out of your car.

Sorry for the sarcasm, but this is not a difficult task. Be carefull putting the bolts back in, they strip easily. Good luck

Google is a wonderful thing, especially when we have no common sense..i mean i don't know much about cars either, but when i want to take something off, i usually look to see what the least amount of bolts i can remove and still get the part out. In this case, there happen to be four very visible ones. You might have to remove the plastic panel on the rail to find one though!!(ZOMG)

But if even that is too hard, idk, maybe your google doesn't work or something, they look kind of like this:

I really hope you didn't take the whole seat apart. As stated, just move the seat all the way foreward to get the bolts in the back (nearest to rear seats), then move the seat all the way back to get the bolts in the front (nearest to front wheels).

Let us know if you get stuck on anyhting else, lol.

That is a terrible, terrible way to go about modifying/working on cars.... or anything. You should be careful when you do things but fear should never keep you from trying.

You break it, you fix.

You were afraid of removing that little plastic piece?!? How are you going to deal with removing the carpet to install the sound deadner?

20 square feet covers the trunk in a coupe. So about the same for a hatch.
