The coolant and oil mixed in my ca18det and I want to take the cylinder head off and I don't know where to start after taking my turbo manifold, and other electrical connections off. Took off the intake and crank angle senor and I don't think i have to take the intake manifold off do i? One more thing, will i just be able to change the head gasket and run it again or has the head gone bad by the time the coolant and oil mixed and you got white smoke comming out of your exhaust. Pls help me out thanks.

What did you do to blow the gasket; overheat it or overboost it? If you got it hot to pop it you probably warped the head. You can leave the intake attached, you will need to take the braces off that attach it t o the cylinder block and take off coolant hoses but it will come off as a unit. You could even leave the turbo on but now that puppy is getting heavy!
