how do i swap an 00vi??

I have a 96 maxima and i want the 00vi.. can someone post some links as to how i make it happen. i can't find much info on how to get the job done.THANKS!!!

does anyone know if CEL's are common on the swap or can u keep them gone?

00vi seems like i don'thave the time to put into it. I would loveto get a mevi if anyone can tell me where.. i hear they are a lot easier

with the 00vi swap you'll get a cel for the egr - no way to get rid of. you can find a mevi in the org's classifieds - seen 2 not long ago for around $400 shipped.

I thought there was a way of installing it with keeping the EGR? I could be wrong thou since I haven't looked too much into the 00vi swap.

i haven't looked into that too much but the 5th gen doesn't have the egr so i doubt there's a port for it on the vi manifold.

Alright so I just did a little bit of digging. It seems as long as you leave the EGR sensor plugged in you won't get a code since that's the only thing the computer monitors.
