how do i set the #1 piston on TDC?

I know it has to do with the distributor but thats all I know...

btw...its a 90 240sx fastback with the ka24e.

1.) Take out all the spark plugs so that the crank shaft will turn easy.2.) Softly place a screwdriver in the #1 piston's spark plug hole.3.) Turn the crank shaft until the screwdriver goes as high as it will go before it starts going back down. Then you are at TDC.

Thats the way I did it.
